Volunteers Needed to Review and Vote on TAPPI Standards

TAPPI Standards Test Methods are procedures and related practices used in the measurement, evaluation, and description of pulp, paper, packaging, and related products, including raw materials used in their manufacture, use, or in scientific investigations of any such substances. There are more than 240 TAPPI Standards and each has a Standard-Specific Interest Group (SSIG) made up of industry professionals who regularly review and vote on that standard. International Flexible Packaging & Extrusion (IFPE) Division - Position Filled

Pradnya Rau, member of YP, recently joined the IFPE Division leadership as the Vice Marketing Chair.  She is a recent Ph.D. graduate and works as a Scientist with Minerals Technologies Inc. in the field of minerals-based barrier coatings for use in polymer and plastic extrusion technologies.  Aside from technical work, Pradnya also leads the visual management group-operational excellence in Minerals Technologies Inc.  Congratulations Pradnya!  If you are interested in getting involved with the YP or other TAPPI divisions, email us.
