Benchmarking Committee

Like numbers?  Make a mean PowerPoint presentation? We are looking for committee members for the Women in Industry Benchmarking Committee.  Our goal is to establish and measure demographics related to women in the paper industry, women in TAPPI, and women in leadership positions in our industry.  We also strive to measure growth and satisfaction levels for women in the forest products, pulp, paper, tissue, packaging, and associated industries.  Our committee meets about six times per year and presents our findings to TAPPI membership and the Women in Industry Division.

Program Committee

The WIN Program Committee is looking for members to assist in developing programming and content for the annual Women’s Summit and other TAPPI conferences. This committee meets monthly.

The Solutions and Strategies for Career Advancement Committee

This committee works to identify gaps in the available tools for women and develop resources to address these gaps and support women leaders. The committee produces webinars and maintains quality connections with other TAPPI Divisions and other organizations. We hold monthly meetings and are looking for committee members, including an opportunity to move into a vice-chair role later in 2021.

The Outreach Committee

This committee works to identify excellent individuals who want to give back to the industry and can enhance the Division’s programs and activities. The Outreach committee recruits new members to the division, involves current members, and works in close collaboration with other Division committees. Under this committee is the Girl Scout Outreach Sub-committee which is also seeking volunteers.
